He is a South Korean singer-actor, songwriter. V is also a vocalist Of the South Korean boy group BTS. The group BTS is also known as Bangtan Boys. It is a seven-member South Korean boy band that published in 2010 and started in 2013 under South Korean entertainment company Big Hit Music. There are other six members in the group Singer-songwriter jin, Rapper and record producer Suga, Rapper and dancer J-Hope, Songwriter and record producer RM, Singer and dancer Jimin & Singer-songwriter Jungkook.
BTS crossed the global music market in 2017 & breaking many records. They become the first Korean group a certification from the “Recording Industry Association of America” for their single “Mic Drop”.They also become the first Korean group to top the US Billboard 200 chart with their studio album “Love Yourself: Tear”.
Sold over 200 million albums on The Gaon Music Chart BTS becomes the best-selling artist in South Korean history and holds the best-selling albums of recorded music in South Korea. They also becomes the “100 most influential people in the world” in the American news magazine in 2019.BTS also ranked 43rd in the Forbes Celebrity 100 in 2019 as one of the worlds top-earning celebrity.
Early Life
He was born on 30th December 1995 in the Seo-gu District of Daegu city in South Korea. Eldest of three children with the younger brother and sister he began taking saxophone lessons in early middle school for pursuing his singing careers. Gradually he becomes training in big hit entertainment after passed out an audition in Daegu. He becomes graduate in 2014 from the Korean Arts High School and enrolled in Global Cyber University—he graduated in August 2020 with a major in Broadcasting and Entertainment. In 2021 he took his admission to the Hanyang Cyber University to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Advertising and Media.
Career
On 13th June 2013, He made his debut as a member in BTS on South Korean pay television music channel Mnet’s M Countdown show with the track “No More Dream”. He also contributed music composition and lyrics for the Solo song “Stigma” from the “Wings” Second Studio album by BTS.
In May 2018 He released his second solo song “Singularity“. After a month of its release British news & media website, TheGuardian.com included this song in the “Top 50 songs for June 2018” playlist & Billboard included it in their Critics’ list of the “Top 50 BTS songs” at number 28. New York-based American daily newspaper The New York Times ranked it twentieth on its list of “The 65 Best Songs of 2018”.
Kim Tae-Hyung known by his stage name V became one of the youngest winners of the prestigious fifth-class Hwagwan The Order of Cultural Merit.
He released his first full solo track outside of BTS, “Scenery”, on 30th January 2019 through the group’s online audio distribution platform SoundCloud. It broke SoundCloud records for reaching 100 million streams in fourteen days, the shortest time for the platform.
In 2020 he participated in the song titled “Sweet Night” for the soundtrack of the South Korean nationwide pay television channel JTBC drama which was released on 13th March 2020. The song ranks at number two on the billboard’s US digital song sales chart, the highest debut for a Korean soloist in the chart’s history.
