Early Life
She was born on 11th April 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia who had a small cleaning business, from 2016 to 2018. She taught herself how to play the guitar by watching tutorials on American online video sharing and social media platform “YouTube” and posted various videos on the platform performing covers.

On 12th September 2019, she revealed that “Over It” would come out on 4th October on LVRN/Interscope Records. Furthermore, she also shared the official artwork. The album ranks at #2 on the US Billboard 200 with sold over 134,000 units in its first week.
The debut week of the album marked the largest streaming week for an R&B by a female music artist. The hit album also ranks top on the R&B Album Charts for 14 non-consecutive weeks. She supported the album with her accompanying the First and Last Tour that kicked off on 20th October.

On 14th September, She was a musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she performed “Body” from her debut album “Over It”. Her performance received appreciation from fans and critics as well, American monthly magazine “Rolling Stone” described the performance as “beatific”.
On 14th October, she won the “Billboard Music Award” for the Best Female R&B Artist at the Billboard Music Awards in 2020, beating out competition from Lizzo and Beyonce.
She also got nominated for Top R&B Artist and the Top R&B Album for “Over It”.
