Early Life

She was born on 06th  August 1996 in Rajasthan’s middle-class family. Her father’s name is Surender Punia Who was working as a clerk in the Indian survey department in Jaipur. The pink city of India and the largest city in the state of Rajasthan which is also known for Hawa Mahal. And her mother is a housewife. She has a  brother named Rahul  Punia.

She has completed her college education at the Jesus and Mary College in Delhi. She completed her graduation in Commerce. In her primary school, she was interested in Playing badminton but later on her interest was divided into cricket. And in the early phase of her life Only at the age of she enrolled herself in Surana Academy of Cricket in Rajasthan.  

Career

For the first time, she appeared in domestic cricket in 2016 against the Hyderabad from Delhi team. The match was played in Bangalore. And in the one-day Championship, she scored 407 runs only in the eight matches at an average of 50. After this achievement, she got the attention of the selector from the Indian national team. She made her first international appearance in the year 2018 Against Australia in Mumbai. She also got selected for the New Zealand tour in the year 2019 for her consistent performance.
