Early Life

He was born on 29th April 1993 in the largest city in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the United States named Louisville. He becomes a graduate of St. Xavier High School in 2011. Along with the graduation he continued with college golf at The Alabama Crimson Tide golf. In 2012 he won The Haskins Award as a most outstanding collegiate golfer. His father Mike Thomas, has been the head professional at the Harmony Landing Country Club which is in Goshen, which is a city in Oldham County, Kentucky.

The career of Justin Thomas

He became a professional golfer in 2013 when he earned his tour card on the Web.com Tour through qualifying school. It is the annual qualifying tournament for leading golf tours such as the U.S.-based PGA. He won his first tournament at The Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship in 2014. He finished fifth in the Web.com Tour in 2014 & earned his PGA Tour card for the 2015 season.

In November 2015 he won his first victory on the PGA Tour by winning The CIMB Classic, a professional golf tournament in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. He won by a single stroke over Australian golfer Adam Scott. 

During the third round of The 2017 U.S. Open Championship, he equalled the U.S. Open single-round record of 63. In 2017 he won his first major The 2017 PGA Championship winning by two shots after a very hard effort. The same year in September he became the  FedEx Cup champion. The same year in the tour championship American golfer Xander Schauffele won against him by one stroke.

In Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at the 2018 Honda Classic he won for the eighth time on tour. Later on the same year at The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, he was beaten 3 & 2 by American golfer Bubba Watson. He then went on to lose the consolation match 5 & 3 to the Swedish Alex Noren to finish in fourth place. The result extended his lead at the top of the FedEx Cup standings and reduced the gap on the world number one American golfer Dustin Johnson.

After The 2018 Players Championship, he replaced Johnson as the world number one golfer. In February 2019 he led The Los Angeles Open entering the final round he shot 75 and finished second to champion the American golfer J.B.Holmes. The same year in August he shot 25-under-par and won The BMW Championship at the Medinah Country Club. It was also the second leg of the three-tournament The 2019 FedEx Cup and put him in the lead in the FedEx Cup standings heading into The Tour Championship

In January 2020 he won The Sentry Tournament of Champions at Kapalua Resort which is in Hawaii. He achieved it for the second time. He won in a playoff over American Alexander Schauffele & Patrick Reed.

In March 2021 shot a final-round four-under-par 68 to win at The 2021 Players Championship by one stroke over English golfer Lee Westwood.
