He was born on 6th February 1997 in Los Angeles, Southern California. His father’s name is Blaine Morikawa & mother Debbie Morikawa. He graduated from La Canada High School which is located in Flintridge, California with a degree in business administration. He played collegiate golf at The University of California, Berkeley. The career of Collin Morikawa
He made his debut professional golf at 2019 The Canadian Open & secured his PGA Tour membership for the 2019–20 season. He won his first PGA Tour event two weeks later at the Barracuda Championship beating American golfer Troy Merritt.
He tied for the lead at The Colonial National Invitation Tournament on 14th July 2020. This was the first PGA Tour tournament played after a three-month-long gap due to The COVID-19 pandemic.
He beat Justin Thomas in a playoff to win his second PGA Tour title at The Workday Charity Open on 12th July 2020. This achievement was the first non-alternate PGA Tour victory for him.
