He is an American actor who first became known for his role as bartender character on the American television show Woody Boyd on NBC sitcom Cheers (1985–1993), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series from a total of five nominations. He has received three Academy Award nominations: Best Actor for American biographical drama film “The People vs. Larry Flynt” (1996) and Best Supporting Actor for “The Messenger” (2009) and for “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing”, Missouri (2017).
He also portrays Marvel Comics character Cletus Kasady/Carnage in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe first appearing in the mid-credits scene of Venom (2018) and later reprising the role as the primary antagonist in the sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021).

Early Life
He was born on 23rd July 1961 in Midland, a is a city in and the county seat of Midland County, Texas, United States. Son of secretary Diane Oswald and Charles Voyde Harrelson. He has two brothers, Jordan and Brett, the latter of whom also became an actor. He studied at Lebanon High School, from which he graduated in 1979.
Career
He restarted his film career. His first movie was the American sports comedy film Wildcats, a 1986 football comedy with American actress, producer, Goldie Hawn. In 1993, he performed opposite American actor, director, Robert Redford and American actress Demi Moore in the drama Indecent Proposal, which was a box office success, earning a worldwide total of over $ 265,000,000 (Rs 19,34.71 Cr).
In 2007’s political action-thriller film “Battle in Seattle”, he performed another key role of a Seattle police officer whose pregnant wife loses her baby during the 1999 World Trade Organization protests. In 2008, he appeared in numerous films, among them the Will Ferrell basketball comedy Semi-Pro and the stark with American actor, rapper Will Smith drama Seven Pounds as a blind vegan meat salesman named Ezra Turner.
He will reprise the role as the main antagonist Cletus Kasady/Carnage in the 2021 sequel “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”. Where English actor Stephen Graham would perform as a Mulligan. American actor Reid Scott as Dan Lewis: A doctor and Anne’s fiancé. Along with English actor, Tom Hardy & American actress Michelle Williams performed as Anne Weying. In 1985, he married Nancy Simon daughter of playwright Neil Simon in a city in Baja California, Mexico called Tijuana. But in the same year, they got divorced. He then married Laura Louie, a co-founder of the organic food delivery service Yoganics. They live in Maui, Hawaii, and have three daughters named Deni, Zoe, and Makani.
