She is an American pop singer and songwriter. Catherine Slater who is famously known as Slayyyter started her career from the Swedish online audio distribution platform “SoundCloud”. Her single, “Mine” ranks on number 38 on the internet radio broadcaster “iTunes” which was also included on her self-titled debut mixtape released in 2019.

Early Life

She was born on 17th September 1996 in Kirkwood, a western suburb of St. Louis which is the second-largest city in the Missouri, United States. She studied at a private school & later on continued her education in public school. During her public school life, she trained in music classes for the first time. After that, she took her admission at the University of Missouri in Columbia but dropped out within one year to pursue her full-time singing career.

Career

Ayesha Erotica who belongs from Los Angeles & is a close friend of hers whom she met on Twitter. Later on, she makes collaboration with her in the music. Her many singles such as “Ghost”, “Candy”, “Alone”, “Hello Kitty” which was written by Ayesha. In 2018 she released her single “I’m High” produced by GhostHaus & “Platform Shoes” produced by Boy Sim.

Her song “Mine” was released on Valentine’s Day in 2019 song received over 200,000 views. Within 24 hours of its release, it rank number 38 on iTunes Chart in the United States. She went On her tour  “The Mini Tour” in June 2019 which started on 24th June from New York City and ended on 27th  July in her hometown St. Louis.

She released her self-titled mixtape on 17th September 2019 on iTunes. It ranks number four on the US iTunes Pop Chart & number fourteen on  US iTunes Albums Chart. She also released a remix of American singer Britney Spears “Gimme More” on her Soundcloud page in April 2020. 

Her debut studio album “Troubled Paradise” scheduled for release on 11th June 2021 by an independent record level company based in New York “FADER Label”.Music video & title track of the song released on 22nd January. The theme of the songs starts with the party mode section & gradually it turns into crazy madness. She also told that all the visuals that inspired her in the current periods are basically dreaming sequences that don’t really feel real.

Her music style has also praised by American singer-songwriter Britney Spears, American actress-singer Lindsay Lohan & Whitney  Houston. She expressed in many interviews that American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Whitney  Houston, Janet  Jackson & American reality television personality Heidi are her singing inspiration. She has been listening to those singing personality since her childhood & influenced her musical style.

She has become an icon & a legends of the moments. The type of singer she is who has not been released any flop songs. After releasing her self-titled mixtape in 2019 she has given her efforts for the better music creation for her fans. As a singer & artists, she always thinks that emotion always comes from someone inner side. The mid-2000s’ periods was her main influence era because of the songs released during that period.
