Career

He made his debut for the Germany national under-16 team on 11th November 2014, starting in the friendly match against the Czech Republic before being substituted out in the 57th minute for Tom Baack. The 22-year-old German  star rose through the ranks of Bayer Leverkusen. In 2016/17 his first senior season with Bayer Leverkusen, he played 24 games and had eight G/A to his name. 

On 4th October 2017 he was later named captain of the under-19 team. In the 2019- 20 season, He once again delivered with 18 G/A. After these amazing  performances, Chelsea signed him for a record fee. He was instrumental in Chelsea’s Champions League campaign.
