Early life
He was born in New Delhi, the capital city of India on 4th May 1972. His father R.S. Randhawa, who is a retired brigadier from the Indian army.
Career
For the first time, he became a professional golfer in the year 1994. He plays in the Asian Tours & also played for the European Tour from 2005 to 2010. He finished second in the European Tour three times. It was the 2002 BMW Asian Open, second, it was the 2004 Johnnie Walker Classic & third, it was the 2007 Open de Espana.
In 2000 he achieved his first International Victory in the Singapore Open & became the first Indian to win the order of Merit Title in the Asian. He is the second-highest-ranked Indian golfer in the World Golf ranking after Jeev Milkha Singh.
In the year 2006, he participated in The Royal Trophy which was a men’s professional team in the golf tournament. He also became the Hero Honda Master with five Asian Tour Wins as an Indian Golfer. He is presently ranked 96th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
He also won the Volvo Asian Master which was organised in Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. He holds the record for the highest win as an Indian along with the players Arjun Atwal & Gaganjeet Bhullar. Along with this, he has also won the one title win in Japan. He has a total of sixteen professional wins to his credit.
Apart from golf, he is also an expert hand in Swimming & Shooting & is a true athlete. His other add-on skill is horse riding, sky diving & biking.

Personal Life
He married Indian actress Chitrangada Singh, the sister of famous Indian professional golfer Digvijay Singh, in 2001. She works in Hindi cinema and has appeared in films such as Yeh Saali Zindagi, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Desi Boys, Inkaar, and many others. The couple has a son named Zorawar, but they divorced in 2014.
