Early Life
She was born on 12th April 1995 in Pennsylvania, the USA to her parents Patrick Brady and Elizabeth Brady. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and made her debut for the Bruins tennis team in 2013. During her early years of career at UCLA, she helped her team win the 2014 Division 1 Women’s Tennis National Championship in Athens, Georgia.
Career
She made her Grand Slam debut at the 2014 US Open & received a wildcard with inactive American tennis player Samantha Crawford for the women’s doubles main draw. She won four singles and fives doubles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit.
She started the year 2019 by reaching the semifinals in doubles of the Australian Open with American professional tennis player Alison Riske, before falling to the world No. 2 teams of Hungarian professional tennis player TÃmea Babos and French professional tennis player Kristina Mladenovic. In February, she made it to the third round of the Dubai Championships where she defeated world No. 22, Latvian professional tennis player Jelena Ostapenko, and No. 20, French professional tennis player Caroline Garcia, before falling to No. 4, Czech professional tennis player Petra Kvitova, in three sets.
The following week, she reached the final of a 125K event in Indian Wells, where she fell to Swiss professional tennis player Viktorija Golubic in three sets. The next week at the Indian Wells Open, she defeated world No. 19, Caroline Garcia, before falling to No. 12, Australian professional tennis player Ashleigh Barty, in the third round.
She also had a strong showing at the Premier Mandatory China Open, where she defeated fellow Americans Amanda Anisimova and Madison Keys before falling to US Open champion Canadian professional tennis player Bianca Andreescu in the third round. Czech professional tennis player Karolina Pliskova defeated her by dropping just one game and advanced to the quarterfinals.
She stated the 2020 season at the Brisbane International, where she made it through qualifying and went on to defeat Maria Sharapova, before defeating world No. 1 and home favourite, Ash Barty. She went on to lose to No. 4, Czech professional tennis player Petra Kvitova, in the quarterfinals in straight sets.
Spanish professional tennis player Garbine Muguruza participated in 2020 at Dubai, where she defeated Belgian Kim Clijsters and Russian professional Veronika Kudermetova, before being defeated by her in the quarterfinals, and lost in the quarterfinals of Doha to world No. 1 Australian professional Ashleigh Barty.
At the Australian Open, she fell to Romanian professional tennis player Simona Halep, in the first round. She did push the former world No. In doubles, she reached the quarterfinals for the third consecutive year, but she and American professional tennis player Caroline Dolehide fell to top-seeded Taiwanese professional tennis players Hsieh Su-Wei and Barbora Strýcová, in straight sets.
At the 2020 US Open, she was ranked 41st in the world. She defeated Russian tennis player Anna Blinkova, American professional tennis player CiCi Bellis and French professional tennis player Caroline Garcia in straight sets, before defeating 2016 champion and former world No. 1, German professional tennis player. Angelique Kerber, to advance to her first Grand Slam quarterfinal. She then recorded another straight-set win over the 23rd seed Russian-born Kazakhstani professional tennis player Yulia Putintseva to reach her first Grand Slam semifinal, where she lost to Naomi Osaka in three sets.
