Early Life
He was born on 19th November 1996, in San Diego, a city in the U.S. state of California on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. His parents are immigrant Chaldean Catholics from Iraq. His father owns two stores. He studied at San Diego Miramar College before dropping out during his freshman year to pursue his YouTube career full-time.
He can understand and speak Chaldean, the varieties of Northeastern Neo-Aramaic (NENA) spoken by Christians, primarily the Arameans.
YouTube Career
His older brother Brandon started a shared YouTube channel called “fathersonchaldean” on 11th October 2008, uploading their first video the same day. They uploaded at least three more videos by the end of 2009, at which point the channel became inactive.
He created his own YouTube channel on 11th July 2012, on which he started posting short clips of Call of Duty gameplay, a first-person shooter video game franchise published by Activision. Starting in 2003. He was invited to join the esports team FaZe Clan, a form of competition using video games, which he now co-owns, in January 2013. He uploaded his first prank video on 7th December 2014.
His channel surpassed 1 million subscribers on 9th October 2015, and 10 million on 8th September 2018, thus earning him the Diamond Play Button award. It surpassed one billion cumulative video views on 21st July 2017.
He also has a second channel known as “FaZe Rug Games” where he is semi-active and uploads only gaming videos.
