Early Life

He was born in Modesto, California. Modesto is the county seat & the largest city in California in the United States. His father’s name is  John Howard Aldrich DeChambeau and mother Janet Louise Druffel. 

He has completed his education in the Clovis East High School situated in California. Along with the study, he also won the California State Junior Championship at age 16 it was in the year  2010. After that, he completed his graduation with the scholarship at Southern Methodist University in physics, which is in Dallas, Texas.

Career

At Southern Methodist University in 2015, he becomes the first to win the NCAA  Individual Championship to win by one stroke. The same year in August he won  The U.S.Amateur title by defeating the American golfer  Derek Bard in the 36 hole final.

He made his PGA Tour debut as an amateur in June 2015 at the FedEx St.Jude Classic in Memphis, Tennessee. Memphis is the city along the Mississippi River in the southwestern ShelbyCounty in Tennessee.

He played his first major Championship US Open. But he missed the cut by four strokes.

 In April 2016, he turned professional golfer and signed a long-term agreement with Cobra-Puma Golf. Cobra  Golf is a sports equipment manufacturing company based in Carlsbad in California.

Puma is a German multinational manufacturer company of athletic and casual footwear and accessories.

In July 2017 he won his first PGA Tour victory by winning the John Deere Classic by a single stroke against American Golfer Patrick Rodgers. 

The John Deere Classic is a professional golf tournament on the PGA tour &  played annually in July, the week before the British Open.

In June 2018 he won the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio. In The WGC-Workday championship Patrick Reed won his second World Golf championship he shot a final-round 4-under 67 to win by one shot against him.

Dublin is a city in  Delaware, Franklin and Union counties in Ohio, United States. The same on August he won The Northern Trust Tournament for his first playoff victory & made a  new record of the tournament with a score of 266.

In November 2018 he won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas Nevada. The winning prize money was $ 1,260,000 (Rs 9.19 Cr). These achievements make him number 5th player officially in the World Golf Ranking.

In August 2020 in the 120th U.S.Open, he becomes the only players to finish under par for the tournament & become the third player in history to achieve the same.

He is not married yet but in a relationship with  Sophia Phalen Bertolami, who has a degree in Kinesiology and Nutrition and boasts nearly 60,000 Instagram followers.
