It was also her maiden top-20 win. She then defeated Maria Sakkari, to earn her maiden top-10 victory and her first-ever WTA quarterfinal. After winning two consecutive WTA 125 singles championships and one in doubles in December, she ranks in the top 75 in singles and the top 60 in doubles.
Alycia was beaten by Sára Bejlek in the second round of the 2023 Australian Open qualifying draw. In the same tournament she along with Oksana Kalashnikova, playing in doubles for the first time at this Major, advanced to the third round. But unfortunately were defeated by Barbora Krejková and Katerina Siniaková, who won the title. She beat Maryna Zanevska to get her first WTA final & overcame top seed Caroline Garcia, achieving her first top-5 victory, and winning her first WTA championship.
