Early Life
Demi was born in Roswell, New Mexico on the 11th of November, 1962 to her parents Charles Harmon and Virginia Guynes. When Moore was at the age of fifteen years old she relocated to West Hollywood where she attended Fairfax High School. After she left high school she started working in many jobs such as a pin-up girl and at a debt collection agency. Moore, later on, attended drama classes and decided that acting was the thing that she wanted to focus on.
Career
Her first appearance was in 1981 when she acted in ‘Choices’ which was a low-budget film in which she played a supporting role. Next year she got her first major role in ‘Parasite’ which was directed by Charles Band in which she played the role of ‘Patricia Welles’. In 1984, Moore played the role of ‘Nicole’ in the comedy film ‘Blame it on Rio directed by Stanley Donen. Her career as an actor started to become successful.
She got her big breakthrough in 1990 when she performed alongside Patrick Swayze in ‘Ghost’. The film was a commercial success and her performance was amazing. That same year she acted in movies such as ‘Disclosure’, ‘A few Good Men’ and ‘Striptease’. Within a few years, she was already known as one of the best female actors in Hollywood. She then worked on the film ‘The Joneses’ which also had a premiere at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.

She married musician Freddy Moore in 1981 when she was only eighteen years old. After that, they divorced in 1985. She then became engaged to actor Emilio Estevez, and they planned to marry in December 1986, but the engagement ultimately did not happen.Then she married actor Bruce Willis in 1987.
The couple announced their separation in 1998 and filed for divorce in October 2000. Bruce paid her $90 million (INR 7,17.34 Cr) as a divorce settlement that included cash and real estate. In 2003, she started dating actor Ashton Kutcher, & finalizing their divorce in November 2013.
Philanthropy
Moore has supported many social works, including the American Foundation for AIDS Research, the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking, Healthy Child Healthy World and UNICEF.
