Early Life of Olivia Rodrigo

She was born on 20th February 2003 in South Western river side country Temecula which is in California, United States. Belongs of Filipino American descent her father’s name is  Ronald Rodrigo & mother Sophia Rodrigo. Her mother is American of Irish and German descent and her father is Filipino-American. At the age of six, she started taking acting and singing classes and acted in theatre productions.

For the first time, she appeared on screen in an American clothing and accessories retailing company Old Navy commercial. In 2015 she made her acting debut Performing the lead role of Grace Thomas in the direct-to-video film  An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success Which was a family comedy-drama movie.

In February 2019 she was cast in the role of Performing as Nini Salazar-Roberts on the Disney & series High School Musical: The Musical. She also receives positive reviews for her performances.

After sign up with Interscope and Geffen Records in 2020, she released her debut single “Drivers License” on 8th January 2021. She co-wrote this song with Daniel Nigro. Within a  week of its release, it broke Swedish audio streaming Spotify’s record twice for most daily streams ever for a non-holiday song. On 11th January the song receives over 15.7 million global streams on Spotify, which she crossed the next day with over 17 million global streams of the song. The songs rank at number one on Billboard hot hundred. She has been top of the chart with her single “Drivers License”. The days are not so far when she would be nominated for the Grammy Award.

She releasing her next album Sour on 21st May 2021. Discussing her idealism in so many interviews she explained that Taylor Swift is her favourite artist along with American singer and songwriter Gwen Stefani. Apart from this she also praised Lorde as one of her biggest inspirations. The Rising Canadian dancer and singer Tate McRae has also been expressed her admiration for her in many interviews.
