Erin Napier was born on 30th August 1985, in Mississippi. She grew up in a small town called Laurel and currently films her HGTV show there. Her father was a physical therapist and her mother was a real estate agent. She completed her degree in graphic design from the University of Mississippi. She met her husband Ben during college, and the two married in 2008. The couple were featured in a popular 2014 blog called “Southern Weddings” where they first started receiving some popularity.
Erin went through a mysterious illness for a decade which discovered at age nineteen years old. She experienced stomach pains and low-grade fevers. Her doctors performed so many tests but they never showed anything out of the ordinary. She also went through an exploratory surgery that revealed her organs were bound together & also found that her appendix had ruptured and healed itself several times over, causing scar tissue to cover her other organs. After the removal of the appendix and scar tissue, she has no further issues.

Erin is best known for being the host of HGTV Home Town, where she along with her husband helped restore and renovate homes in her hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. The couple also owns Laurel Mercantile Co and Scotsman Co, which support local craftsmen.
